Philips Heartstart FRx Features

The Philips HeartStart FRx is a rugged and easy-to-use automated external defibrillator (AED) designed for both laypersons and professionals. Its intuitive features and robust design make it ideal for use in challenging environments, ensuring reliable performance during sudden cardiac arrest emergencies.

  • SMART Biphasic Therapy: Utilizes biphasic waveform technology that adjusts the energy level based on the patient’s needs, delivering effective shocks while minimizing heart muscle damage.
  • Clear Voice Instructions: Provides step-by-step voice prompts to guide users through the defibrillation process.
  • Infant/Child Key: Features an optional Infant/Child Key that adjusts the shock energy and CPR instructions for pediatric patients, eliminating the need for separate pediatric pads.
  • Daily Self-Tests: Conducts daily self-tests to ensure the device is always ready for use, checking the battery, pads, and internal circuitry.
  • Versatile Electrode Pads: The same electrode pads can be used on both adults and children (with the Infant/Child Key).
  • Data Management: Capable of storing event data, including ECG and shock information, for post-event analysis and review.
